Dave Harlow can’t keep a job in IT Security?

Obama on 60 Minutes DVD

Today I received an email from Gregory Evans stating that Dave Harlow was fired from Mcfee.  Apparently they were trying to get Dave served with papers. The following is a quote from Gregory Evans “he was hiding out so we decided to get him served at his job.  When we contacted McAfee to get his supervisors name, they knew nothing about Dave.  When our private investigator who was trying to serve Dave did a little more digging he was told by someone inside that Dave work was not up to par and he quite before he was fired.”

I went to look at his Linkedin page (http://www.linkedin.com/profile?viewProfile=&key=19317494&authToken=Jefi&authType=name&goback=.rmg_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1) and sure enough he worked for McAfee from March 2010 to July 2010.  Wow! Also looking at his resume he has never worked on one job in security for more than 5 years. Most of the time it was less than 2 years.

This is a copy of the email Evans sent me. I did check to make sure this was real person.

Mr. Evans:

This will acknowledge receipt by McAfee of your facsimile of July 15 in which you have asked for the contact information for a supervisor of (variously) David Harlow (Hallow).   We do not currently have any employee either with the name David Harlow or David Hallow; we did however have a former employee named David Harlow.

Our policies would not provide for us to give out the contact information of supervisors of former employees; however, if you are simply seeking verification as to former employment, please advise and we will provide whatever information our policies permit.

Thank You!

This is hearsay at best. Also, Greg’s spell checker was not up to par.

“Wow! Also looking at his resume he has never worked on one job in security for more than 5 years. Most of the time it was less than 2 years.”

Stating that someone has not worked for more than 5 years in any one job doesn’t really mean anything now, does it? You generally don’t move up as an IT professional without moving out.

When will we see a post about the Ligatt stock 2000/1 reverse split? The stock tanked after the split and investors’ holdings are being raeped. Not the sign of a successful business.

  3. anaylor says:

Raped, as in the investors stake in the company has been shafted to within an inch of it’s life. Following the reverse split the share value plummeted by 87.5%. Real people who have invested thousands of dollars can just about afford a fixed price meal at McDonalds. This is not a consequence of so called stock bashing but of a company with no significant income other than stockholder investment.

Take a look at Ligatt’s website and how prominently the message to “BUY OUR STOCK!” appears. Name another legitimate infosec company that does this? Shareholders have been taken for a ride, lost their money and threatened with a lawsuit for complaining.

  4. anaylor says:

I see no further comment on the fate of LIgatt stock.

Can the referee please post an article on the stock price and recent reverse split? How does Greg answer to the criticism from shareholders that he swans around showing off his marble bathroom while investors have lost thousands of dollars?

  5. anaylor says:

Wow. My account receives a “Bye bye spambot!” message when I try to log in. I guess a true hacker could work out how to circumvent this feature… oh wait!

This “controversial” site is nothing more than a cynical attempt to detract from Greg Evans’ critics. There have been no updates, no new content, no hugh hoo-hah as predicted by “The Referee.” I’m guessing no film deal either.

As Ligatt’s share price approaches the pre-reverse split price it’s abundantly clear that Greg Evans is a liar and a cheat.

“If you want to be rich, buy my stock.”

What a fucking tool. Go eat a bag of dicks Greg.
