About Cyber Wars

Great Deals @ Geeks.com!

Thecyberwars.com is a controversial website designed to provide cyber security opponents the chance to express their thoughts and concerns on issues cyber experts face in the technology industry. What sets this blog aside from other technology blogs is the content. The content is raw and factual information between two or more cyber security professionals.

About The Referee

A short time back I was having dinner with a friend and we were discussing racism against African Americans working in the technology industry. During this time, my friend mentioned that he had come across an interesting press release on racism in the technology industry.  It seemed somewhat strange because I couldn’t believe that racism was such a big concern for computer geeks. Then I thought to myself, racism is not that interesting, however what if I build an un-bias website displaying conflicts between cyber security experts?

Not only would this website be based on hard-core facts, but I would also build a section on the website entitled “evidence”. The evidence section will display actual documents allowing the opponents to defend comments posted to the website.

After contemplating for several hours about this controversial issue, I thought, how could make this more interesting, how could I turn this into a script, how could I sell this to the studio heads, do I have enough information to get started? Considering all my possibilities, I decided to take upon myself and create “The Cyber Wars” project.

I have read some recent post from various computer security blogs, and as a result, I have chosen to remain anonymous until the project is complete.

I then will post these questions and answers unedited on this site.  I will also be contacting outside sources to verify the information.

I have decided to start this counterpart off by contacting Gregory Evans, President and CEO of LIGATT Security International; considering the situation at hand all started with him.  On June 28, 2010 I contacted Evans via email and explained to him the project I was currently working on. After much debate about my idea, Evans agreed to participate in the “cyber wars” project.  As soon as I finish collecting all the information needed from Evans, I will then proceed to contact Riley with a list of questions.

When it is all said and done, readers will be able to draw their own opinions of what is the truth and what are rumors.

Is reselling 800 numbers even considered hacking? NO! That isn’t even script kiddie stuff, and is barely considered phreaking!

It takes about the same amount of intelligence to resell 800 numbers as it does to rob a convenience store…

I gotta admit, I’ve not seen a website like this before. So you’re planning on making the real-life incidents on this site into a movie? Interesting.

Keep us updated on the evidence you’ve gathered from both Evans and Riley.

  3. redcat says:

Have the makers got a list of rivalries they’re going to follow?

Are my comments going to be posted?
